I am a second-year Ph.D. student, and as part of my thesis, I am developing a microfluidic-based system for the fast determination of the equilibrium constant for biomolecular complexes. I also study the energies of DNA-RNA interactions in relation to the mismatch position along the DNA strand. For almost four years, I have been working in the Soft Condensed Matter group, where I independently conduct research in the fields of biophysics and cell biology. During this period, I dealt with DNA interactions in a crowded environment, biochemical catalysis, and the motion of ssDNA in and between the nucleus and cytoplasm. I love doing new things, learning languages, diving, and climbing.
