I am a first-year Ph.D. student, and as part of my thesis, I am developing a microfluidic-based system for the fast determination of the equilibrium constant for biomolecular complexes. I also study the energies of DNA-RNA interactions in relation to the mismatch position along the DNA strand. For almost four years, I have been working in the Soft Condensed Matter group, where I independently conduct research in the fields of biophysics and biochemistry. During this period, I dealt with DNA interactions in the crowded environment, biochemical catalysis, and the motion of ssDNA in and between the nucleus and cytoplasm. After work, I enjoy learning languages and reading fun facts about science. I love diving and doing physical exercises.
