I graduated from Warsaw University of Technology, studying biotechnology and bioengineering. During my bachelor’s studies, I worked with molecular biology, changing yeast genome to mimic changes occurring in neurodegenerative disease. In my master’s studies, I was preparing polymeric microparticles for anticancer therapy. My main research area during my PhD is DNA. By applying FCS and brightness method, I study equilibrium constants and kinetics of the reactions occurring between DNA and small fluorescent molecules. I also research fluorescence particles’ behaviour in living cells. One day I wish to add a brick to the wall in cancer research.
