I am interested in mesoscopic physics, especially in the context of fluids.
My work is often built up on the results obtained from the computer simulations, which provide insight to the physical systems as they are: described on a certain level without approximation. Next, I try to describe these phenomena by reducing to what seems to be most important.
So far I had opportunities to study: hydrodynamic interactions, low Reynolds number flows, electrokinetics, thermal conversion of biomass, reactive flow in porous media, cellular signalling and spatial features of cellular signalling.
I am working on:
-> steady state thermodynamics,
-> OpenFOAM libraries for thermal and chemical conversion of porous media,
-> electrokinetic phenomena.
My work is supported by the PD2PI Fellowship.
