Quantitative Biophysical Chemistry

We use advanced fluorescent techniques coupled with biophysical analysis to directly measure the size, diffusion coefficients, and quantities of molecules in living cells. We aim to determine the mechanism of cellular uptake of drugs, determination of protein’s oligomerization, and the quantitative description of drug-target interactions. We strive to understand quantitatively biochemical reactions with DNA in a flask and living cells’ nucleus. We also develop novel technics for bioanalysis.
